    Overview

    Well, weve been doing this ourselves for so long we dont know what to write here.

    This is your opportunity to actively work with folks from around the globe who come to enjoy the highly rated 4-hour, 9-course dining experience focusing on seasonal and regional ingredients at their prime.

    Smiles on your face and in your voice. Organization. Strong communication skills. Poise gained through several years of Hospitality/Guest Service/Admin/Supervisory experience are needed to apply for this position.

    The Herbfarm is a world-class fine dining experience where our food follows the seasons. Our feet are on the ground and we usually have a sense of humor. We are America's only 5-diamond restaurant west of Chicago and north of San Francisco. That said, we are also the only restaurant serving 9-course meals where guests can visit and feed our pet piggies during dinner.

    • Passionate about guest hospitality
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about farm to table foods and experienced with procurement thereof.
    • Depth of wine knowledge. Understands dealing with a vast inventory of local & international wines both current and vintage.
    • Can manage multiple programs such as marketing, admin/guest services, bookkeeping, farm, facilities repair & maintenance, inventory and supplies, etc. but does not need to be an expert at the detail of each program.

    • Support/Drive DR manager and Reservations to personalize guest experience
    • Interview, hire, train new staff. Working interviews. Scheduling of staff with budgets. Staff reviews.
    • Schedule and Conduct weekly meetings with key personnel teams.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • 3+years hospitality
    • 3+ years managing, supervising, budget experience
    • College Education.
    • International travel is a plus.
    • A genuine desire to serve the guest, co-workers, and the company.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
    • Some Adobe InDesign is helpful.
    • Website/IT experience
    • Positive attitude giving others energy and warmth

    Hours/Schedules

    This position is usually a 5-6 day a week job--40-60 hours. Includes many weekends as our service schedule is generally Thursday through Sundays. Mondays can be a busy office day. Please visit The Herbfarm before applying-- 10-3 daily, 10-1 Sundays.
