    The Herbfarm is a 5-diamond, 4-star destination restaurant focusing on the seasonal and regional ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. We hire dedicated, hard-working employees who take part in the team effort of creating the best dining experience in the world. That said, we are also the only restaurant serving 9-course meals where guests can visit and feed our pet, Potbelly pigs during dinner.

    Position Overview:
    Expedient and careful washing and hand polishing of dishes, glassware, pots and pans used by dining guests and kitchen crew during prep and during the course of dinner service. Basic Dishwasher and Dishroom maintenance. General kitchen maintenance. Possible assistance in food prep.

    Lavado rpido y cuidadoso y pulido a mano de platos, cristalera, ollas y sartenes utilizados por los comensales y el equipo de cocina durante la preparacin y durante el servicio de cena. Mantenimiento bsico de lavavajillas y lavavajillas. Mantenimiento general de cocinas. Posible asistencia en la preparacin de alimentos.


    Washing and polishing (as needed) dishes, glassware, bowls, pots & pans. Preparing dishes to be used during service each evening. Putting clean items away in their assigned locations. Tracking all breakage per instructions of pantry steward. Disposing of garbage, recycle and compost as directed. Help to improve efficiency and speed of dish area. General cleaning of dish and kitchen area during and after service. Care and maintenance of dishwashing area and machines. Assistance in kitchen with food prep as schedule allows.

    Due to the nature of our service, this position requires puzzle solving skills each day.

    Lavar y pulir (segn sea necesario) platos, cristalera, cuencos, ollas y sartenes. Preparacin de platos para ser utilizados durante el servicio cada noche. Guardando artculos limpios en sus ubicaciones asignadas. Seguimiento de todas las roturas por instrucciones del administrador de despensa. Eliminacin de basura, reciclaje y compost segn las indicaciones. Ayuda a mejorar la eficiencia y la velocidad del rea del plato. Limpieza general de vajilla y rea de cocina durante y despus del servicio. Cuidado y mantenimiento de lavavajillas y mquinas. Asistencia en cocina con preparacin de alimentos segn lo permita el horario.

    Debido a la naturaleza de nuestro servicio, esta posicin requiere habilidades de resolucin de rompecabezas cada da.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • 1-2 years experience in a restaurant workplace.
    • Reasonable command of English language
    • Comfortable standing for 8 hours
    • Must have reliable transportation since Metro buses don't work with this schedule and location.
